Little Black Cat
by Llewynn Brown
Little black cat’s been on a mad one for the last week, but I suppose, it’s her spring too. She batters round the living room like her spay-scar is nothing more than a patch of missing fur; that’s all the vets have to show for their efforts, the ones who passed her back with dressing still on one knife-wielding paw because she gave them such a battering. Mine, I earned it. Take what you can with tooth and claw and give nothing back but the enriching experience of hissing fury. We have something to learn from you, little black cat.
Llewynn Brown is a queer poet living in the Southwest of England with a little black cat and a lot of ideas they’d like to share. Their main areas of focus are poetry and fiction as mediums to share honest experience and sensations.
