2025 Spring Short Competition Longlist

Yet again, we’ve been blown away by the quantity and quality of the submissions we received for our 2025 Spring Short Competition for prose poems of up to 100 words.

It has been incredibly hard to come up with a longlist this year; thank you to everyone who sent us work for making the job so delightfully difficult!

All authors who entered work in the competition should have received an update by email; if you are still awaiting notification, please check your spam folder or log in to Duosuma.

Huge congratulations to the authors of the following longlisted poems.

If your poem is on the list, do feel free to let people know if you are a longlisted author, but please don’t name your poem until results are announced so that the ongoing adjudication can remain anonymous.
