Dress up

She giggles with delight, placing the giant pink glasses over my eyes, the scraggly red wig on top of my head, the sea captain shirt and the spiderman cape and the butterfly wings. It’s the small things, these moments, on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I hope she remembers most.
