The Prose Poem

We’re delighted to announce the longlist for our inaugural 2023 Prose Poetry Competion.

We were incredibly impressed with the quality of submission and have opted to go for a generous longlist, listed in alphabetical order.

If your poem is on the list, congratulations! Feel free to share the good news, but please don’t mention the name of your poem as adjudication is still underway.

Thank you to everyone who submitted work. There were many great pieces that didn’t make the list simply because they strayed too far into traditional poetry or flash fiction territory for our adjudicator.

Our shortlist will be announced by 15 November and winners will be announced by 30 November.
